Hydroextrusion Thinning Unit

Hydron's HTU-112 produces solder wire of fine and extra-fine diameters, even down to 0.03mm for some alloys.
The operation of the unit is based on the principle of hydrostatic extrusion, which allows to process very ductile and hard-to draw materials. Thus, hydroextrusion is a reasonable alternative to fine wire drawing.
