Hydron Solder Wire Drawing Machines:
Hydron offers two different kinds of wire drawing machines, depending on the input and output wire diamters and the necessary reduction ratio.
For extruded wires of higher diameters (~12mm) we offer our Heavy Wire Drawing Machine MWD-112/3/12, equipped with three conical shafts and 21 dies with recommended die sequence 13%.
For pre-drawn wires of diameters starting from 3mm, we offer the Light Wire Drawing Machine MWD-112/2/3, equipped with two conical shafts and 26 dies. The recommended die sequence is 7%.

Description:
Our wire drawing machines were designed to meet the following objectives: high reliability and reduction of wire breakage, full and easy integration with other units, with the possibility of independent operation, easy set-up and die changes, reduced energy consumption.
That is why we equipped the units with programmable logic controllers, frequency inverters which control smooth operation of the driving shafts, highly reducing the probability of wire breakage. The coolant spray (working emulsion of oil and water) is provided to each of the dies as well as to the shafts.
The units can be operated together with Hydron's Extrusion Presses or other Wire Drawers, which greatly reduces the need for operator supervision.
