Hydron's Llight MWD-112/2/3 Wire Drawing Machine is designed to draw flux-cored or wire of fine diameters within the range starting from 3mm (1/4") down to aprox. 0.4mm (0.015").

Unit Description:

The MWD-112/2/3 Drawing Machines are programmable controlled and equipped with automatic stop, stepless speed control (frequency inverter), optionally die pre-pulling attachment is available. Exit wire spooler is also abailable at customer request, however, for higher output and production felxibility, we recommend our Semi Automatic Spool Winder SW-112.

Due to the material charactistics, not all alloys can be wire-drawn. Higher ductility (lead, babbit) of materials makes it difficult to avoid occasional wire breakages. All worldwide drawable alloys can be processed with Hydron's wire drawers.
However, we have developed a complimentary technology that allows to perform wire thinning of highly ductile materials, as well as achieve diameters of values even up to 0.025mm.
