Bar Marking Shearing and Packaging Unit

Hydron's BMS-212 is designed to cut, stamp and pack solder alloy bars of any kind into cardboard boxes. This is the most advanced unit present on the market, characterised by high precision and outstanding outputs - upto 2000lb/h.

Features:

  • high outputs - over 100% faster then any other unit on the market, output limited only by extrusion speed (2000lb/h)
  • new packaging techollogy - bars packed in layers
  • uses hydraulic knife (not buzz saw) - no more powder
  • new cutting technology - no discards, no waste
  • capable of cutting bars of any length (also 1/2 inch chunks)
  • stamps at both ends of bars
  • easily movable, can serve different machines or be exchanged with Buzz Saw for Anodes
  • full integration with HEP-112 Extrusion Press

Unit Description:

The BMS unit is an effect of over 10 years of research and on-site experience. It is designed to adress all issues occuring during the bar production: fast and efficient shearing, accurate stamping and customized packaging.

BMS can process bars, rods, and anodes produced with any horizontal extrusion press, however HEP-112/72 is recommended, as the units can be fully integrated. Extruded continuous rods are pulled by the BMS pulling system to allow for equal bar length. In the next step, the bars are clamped and sheared by a hydralically powered knife. Stamps are put on both sides of the bar, allowing to mark e.g. the lot number and alloy grade. NUmerical transducer controls the length (and thus weight) of the bars.

Bars can be manually collected or automatically packaged into boxes of defined geometry. The bars are counted and placed in layers. The process is fully automatic.
