Hydron Extrusion Presses :
Hydron is offering two hydraulic presses for solder manufacturing: the medium press HEP-112/72, that processes the standard 72mm billets and the heavy press HEP-112/116 with a billet of 116mm diameter.
The medium unit is suitable for production fo all types of solid and cored wires, bars or anodes.
The heavy unit was designed to enable for production of large profile bars and anodes at higher efficiency rates.

Extrusion is a step that is present in all solder-products manufactruing processes - wires, anodes and bars.
What is important it is usually the slowest process, 'bottleneck', as both casting and wire drawing run much quicker.
That is why in Hydron we concentrate our efforts to develop technologies which reduce the inefficiencies of extrusion and increase outputs.
We have gone a long way since 1985, when our first extrusion press was lauched and now we can offer you solutions, allowing for efficient, operatorless and safe extrusion.
Our most important concepts include the hinged piston; the use of programmable logic controllers and frequency inverters; back-up motor, pneumatic drives and many more.
We also understand the differnces between production of anodes and production of bars or wire and we developed two different extrusion units.
All Hydron's extrusion presses come with economical electro-hydraulic power supply HSS-112 and efficent, water-saving cooling unit CU-112. Horizontal presses can easily be coupled with other Hydron's equipment - MWD Drawing Machines, BMS Bar Cutters or BSA Anode Buzz Saw.
